Spain. New day of air traffic controllers’ strike on Monday

Air traffic controllers in control towers managed by private companies will continue their strike days on 6, 13, 20 and 27 February. The cancelled services could reach 84 % at some airports.

Although the strike is called for private control towers, other airports could be affected by delays in rotations if a previous flight has operated at one of the affected airports.

It should be noted that the strike will not take place at all airports, but at the following airports:

A Coruña, Alicante-Elche. Castellón, Cuatro Vientos, El Hierro, Fuerteventura, Ibiza, Jerez, Lanzarote, La Palma, Lleida, Murcia, Sabadell, Seville and Valencia

Arrive at airports early to avoid having your seat assigned to a standby passenger. Contact the airlines to confirm flight status.
