España Huelga indefinida de Air Nostrum
Se ha anunciado una nueva huelga indefinida en Air Nostrum, aerolínea regional franquiciada de Iberia, que comenzará el próximo 27 de febrero, según ha informado el Sindicato Español de Pilotos de Líneas Aéreas (SEPLA). Todos los lunes y viernes esta inactividad afectará a las bases y centros de trabajo de la compañía.

The indefinite strike at Air Nostrum, Iberia’s franchised regional airline, will begin on February 27th, according to the Sindicato Espanol de Pilotos de Lneas Aéreas (SEPLA). Every Monday and Friday this inactivity will affect the company’s bases and work centers.

UK. (Europe) On February 17, UK Airport Border Staff will strike once more
Operations of the Border Force will be impacted by Civil Service industrial action, according to the Public and Commercial Services (PCS) union.
Between February 17 and February 20, 2023, travelers who intend to enter the UK may have to wait longer at border check.
Suggested dates for the Border Force strike: February 17, 18, 19 and 20.(until 7am). All airports will be affected, mainly Heathrow in order, followed by Gatwick, Manchester, Stansted and Edinburgh.
Locations: The following ports will be affected by the proposed strike action for both passengers and cargo entering the UK:
Calais Port, The Dunkirk port, Coquelles Tunnel to the Channel and Dover Port. You should plan ahead and check before you travel if you are entering the UK through one of these ports.
In the event of probable strike action, military personnel, government employees, and volunteers are being trained to assist Border Force at airports and ports throughout the UK.

Before leaving, please check with your operator, be ready for delays, and carefully arrange your movements if they fall on a strike day.

Portugal. (Europa) Huelga – Interrupción del tráfico | Hasta el 21 de febrero. Renfe, cancelaciónes
Los servicios que comunican Vigo y Oporto (Tren Celta), pueden verse cancelados debido a la huelga ferroviaria convocada en Portugal. Renfe informa que, con motivo de la huelga convocada en Portugal, desde el 9 hasta el 17 de febrero se producirán afectaciones en el Tren Celta.
Los servicios que comunican Vigo-Guixar con Oporto (dos frecuencias diarias en cada sentido) podrán ser cancelados o ver interrumpida su circulación en la estación de Valença do Minho.
Los viajeros afectados podrán anular o cambiar para otra fecha su billete sin ningún coste. Reconfirme sus reservas y busque alternativas.
Debido a las huelgas convocadas por el Sindicato Nacional dos Maquinistas dos Caminhos de Ferro Portugueses (SMAQ), el Sindicato Nacional dos Trabalhadores do Sector Ferroviário (SNTSF) y el Sindicato Ferroviário da Revisão Comercial Itinerante (SFRCI), para el periodo comprendido entre las 00h00 del 8 de febrero y las 00:00 horas del 21 de febrero, se producirán importantes interrupciones de la circulación en todos los servicios hasta el 17 de febrero.

Portugal. (Europe) Strike – Interruption of traffic : until 21 February. Renfe, cancellations
Services between Vigo and Oporto (Tren Celta) may be cancelled due to the railway strike in Portugal. Renfe informs that, due to the strike called in Portugal, from the 9th to the 17th of February, the Celta train will be affected. Services between Vigo-Guixar and Oporto (two daily frequencies in each direction) may be cancelled or their circulation may be interrupted at Valença do Minho station. Customers who have already purchased tickets to travel on Alfa Pendular, Intercity, International, InterRegional and Regional trains may obtain a refund, for the full value of the ticket purchased, or its revalidation free of charge for another train of the same category and class.

The airports of Hatay, Kahramanmaras and Gaziantep have suspended commercial flights. Increased terrorist threat, following the Koran curfew incident, there could be attacks on places of worship and areas frequented by Westerners, including Ankara and Istanbul. We recommend seeking alternatives at other airports in the area in case you need to fly, and exercise caution due to possible terrorist threat.
State of emergency remains in place in the 10 affected provinces; Kahramanmaraş, Gaziantep, Malatya, Diyarbakır, Kilis, Şanlıurfa, Adıyaman, Hatay, Osmaniye, Adan.
