Verdi, one of Germany’s most powerful trade unions, has announced a public transport strike in many cities for March 3rd. The states of Hesse, North Rhine Westphalia, Baden-Württemberg, Saxony, Lower Saxony and Rhineland-Palatinate will be particularly targeted. The bus and rail networks will be disrupted in these areas.
