El personal del principal operador de transporte público de Milán, ATM, hará huelga el 31 de marzo y el 19 de abril. También se está preparando para la tarde del 2 de abril, una huelga de operadores de tráfico aéreo y una huelga nacional de trenes del personal de Trenitalia el 14 de abril.

Durante toda la jornada del viernes, los autobuses, tranvías y metros estarán protestando, y es probable que la ciudad se quede sin transporte público.

La huelga interrumpirá el servicio desde las 8.45 hasta las 15.00 y desde las 18.00 hasta el final del servicio. Por tanto, los vehículos estarán garantizados desde el inicio del servicio a las 8.45 h y de las 15.00 a las 18.00 horas. Fuera de estas franjas horarias, los trabajadores podrán cruzarse de brazos y bloquear el tráfico del metro.

Staff of Milan’s main public transport operator ATM will strike on 31 March and 19 April. A strike by air traffic operators is also being prepared for the afternoon of 2 April, and a nationwide train strike by Trenitalia staff on 14 April.

Throughout the day on Friday, buses, trams and metros will be protesting, and the city is likely to be without public transport.

The strike will interrupt services from 8.45am until 3pm and from 6pm until the end of the service. Therefore, vehicles will be guaranteed from the start of the service at 8.45am and from 3pm to 6pm. Outside these time slots, workers will be able to stand idle and block metro traffic.
