Perú. (América) Cambios en las recomendaciones.
El Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores de España ha actualizado la información reduciendo su nivel de alerta (antes «Desaconsejaba el viaje salvo razones de extrema necesidad» y actualmente señala «Viajar con Precaución»), añadiendo que desde el 7 de diciembre de 2022 hasta finales de febrero, se han registrado protestas y manifestaciones, en algunos casos de carácter violento, especialmente en el sur de Perú. La red vial nacional experimentó entonces numerosos y cambiantes puntos de bloqueo y también se vieron afectados los principales aeropuertos del sur del país, produciéndose algunos cierres puntuales. Durante los últimos meses, el Gobierno peruano ha declarado el estado de emergencia (en ocasiones con toques de queda) en diversos departamentos de Perú, estando aún vigente en Puno, donde persisten algunas protestas.
Por otra parte, fuertes lluvias azotan periódicamente el norte del país, produciéndose inundaciones y deslizamientos de tierras, lo que dificulta los desplazamientos en esa zona. Además, como consecuencia de las lluvias, se ha elevado considerablemente la incidencia de la enfermedad del dengue. Estos efectos meteorológicos podrían seguir registrándose durante el año 2023 como resultado del fenómeno de El Niño.
Se ha registrado asimismo un incremento de la inseguridad ciudadana en las ciudades, especialmente en Lima. Por tanto, se aconseja viajar con precaución por todo el país.
Se recomienda a los ciudadanos españoles residentes y transeúntes en Perú que permanezcan atentos a la evolución de la situación, especialmente en el caso de Puno, a través de los anuncios de autoridades y medios locales y sigan las recomendaciones de las autoridades peruanas, tomando siempre las debidas precauciones durante sus desplazamientos fuera del hotel o alojamiento en que se encuentren, comprobando, previamente, que las rutas que van a transitar se encuentran expeditas.
Por otro lado, se requiere a los viajeros que sus pasaportes tengan una vigencia mínima de 6 meses. En caso contrario, las autoridades migratorias peruanas prohibirán el ingreso del viajero a Perú y será retornado a su país de procedencia.

Spanish citizens residing and passing through Peru are advised to remain attentive to the evolution of the situation, especially in the case of Puno, through the announcements of local authorities and media, and to follow the recommendations of the Peruvian authorities, always taking the necessary precautions when travelling outside the hotel or accommodation where they are staying, checking beforehand that the routes they are going to travel are open.
On the other hand, travellers are required to have their passports valid for at least 6 months. Otherwise, the Peruvian immigration authorities will prohibit the traveller from entering Peru and they will be returned to their country of origin.
