Malawi. Actualización sobre seguridad.
El Ministerios de Asuntos Exteriores español ha actualizado la información añadiendo que se aconseja viajar con precaución y abstenerse de hacerlo por determinadas zonas. Se recomienda leer con atención el resto de estas recomendaciones de viaje.
ENTRADA EN MALAWI:
VISADOS:

SANIDAD:
Se recomienda contratar un seguro médico.
Si lleva medicamentos para uso personal, se recomienda traer la prescripción médica y su traducción.
En zonas de baja altitud y especialmente durante la temporada de lluvias (de noviembre a abril), existe riesgo de malaria. Se recomienda tomar tratamiento contra la malaria. Consulte con los servicios españoles de sanidad del Ministerio de Sanidad, Consumo y Bienestar Social: www.mscbs.gob.es
El uso de mascarillas es obligatorio en espacios públicos, al igual que las medidas generales de distanciamiento social recomendadas por la OMS. Los hoteles y lodges de safari están abiertos con las debidas medidas sanitarias de prevención.

SEGURIDAD:
Extreme las precauciones contra robos y fraudes, especialmente en aeropuertos y estaciones de autobuses en ciudades como Lilongue y Blantyre.
Las carreteras empeoran en zonas urbanas y entre ciudades, especialmente durante la temporada de lluvias de noviembre a abril. Se recomienda extremar la precaución y evitar viajar de noche.
Asimismo, se recomienda evitar acercarse a cualquier manifestación, acto o concentración política, no fotografiar a las fuerzas de seguridad o armadas, respetar los controles de carretera y tomar otras medidas de precaución de sentido común, prestando especial atención a las informaciones difundidas por los medios locales en televisión, radio e internet, así como a las actualizaciones de estas recomendaciones de viaje.

Malawi. Security update.
The Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has updated the information by adding that it is advised to travel with caution and to refrain from travelling in certain areas. It is recommended to read the rest of these travel recommendations carefully.

HEALTH:
It is recommended that you take out medical insurance.
If you are carrying medication for personal use, it is recommended that you bring your prescription and its translation.
In low altitude areas and especially during the rainy season (November to April), there is a risk of malaria. It is recommended to take treatment against malaria. Check with the Spanish health services of the Ministry of Health, Consumption and Social Welfare: www.mscbs.gob.es.
The use of face masks is mandatory in public places, as are the general social distancing measures recommended by the WHO. Hotels and safari lodges are open with appropriate health precautions.
