Mauricio. Aviso por Dengue.
El Ministerio de asuntos exteriores ha incluido en sus recomendaciones de viajes que a partir de junio de 2023, se han registrado un total de 12 casos de dengue en Mauricio y otros 21 casos en la isla de Rodrigues. Las autoridades locales han informado que se han implementado las medidas necesarias y que la situación se encuentra bajo control, incluyendo la fumigación de las áreas afectadas. Se recomienda estar atentos a los comunicados gubernamentales, así como utilizar productos y cremas repelentes en las zonas propensas a mosquitos tanto en Mauricio como en la isla de Rodrigues.
Es importante tener un pasaporte válido con una vigencia superior a 6 meses al momento de viajar. Las autoridades migratorias de Mauricio suelen detectar y rechazar en la frontera aquellos pasaportes que han sido reportados como extraviados y anulados, en caso de que se intenten utilizar nuevamente después de haber sido extraviados.
Es importante destacar que Mauricio ya no exige la presentación de pruebas PCR ni certificados de vacunación.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has included in its travel advisories that as of June 2023, a total of 12 cases of dengue fever have been reported in Mauritius and a further 21 cases on the island of Rodrigues. Local authorities have reported that the necessary measures have been implemented and that the situation is under control, including the spraying of affected areas. It is recommended to pay attention to governmental communications and to use repellent products and creams in mosquito-prone areas both in Mauritius and on Rodrigues Island.
It is important to have a valid passport valid for more than 6 months at the time of travel. Mauritian immigration authorities usually detect and reject at the border those passports that have been reported as lost and invalidated, in case they are attempted to be used again after having been lost.
Importantly, Mauritius no longer requires the presentation of PCR tests and vaccination certificates.
