Bélgica. La ciudad de Mons toma medidas para mejorar la seguridad en el barrio de la estación
El Ayuntamiento de Mons ha decidido implementar una nueva medida con el objetivo de reacondicionar y garantizar la seguridad en el barrio de la estación. Ante el creciente índice de inseguridad en el distrito, a partir del 31 de julio, se establecerá un límite de reuniones de más de 5 personas dentro del perímetro de la estación de Mons.
El motivo de esta medida es combatir las dificultades encontradas en el distrito de la rue Rogier y la rue Léopold en Mons. Con el fin de asegurar un entorno más seguro para los residentes y visitantes de la zona, se ha aprobado un decreto que autoriza a los servicios policiales a realizar actividades de vigilancia y controles sistemáticos tanto de vehículos y sus ocupantes como de personas en la vía pública dentro del perímetro del recinto de la estación.

The City of Mons has decided to implement a new measure to improve and guarantee security in the station district. In view of the growing level of insecurity in the district, as of 31 July, there will be a limit on gatherings of more than 5 people within the perimeter of Mons station.

In order to ensure a safer environment for residents and visitors to the area, a decree has been adopted authorising the police services to carry out surveillance activities and systematic checks both of vehicles and their occupants and of people on the public highway within the perimeter of the station precinct.
