La Unión Sindical de Controladores Aéreos (USCA) y la Comisión de Trabajadores (CCOO) han convocado una huelga en las torres de control gestionadas por Saerco y Skyway, afectando a diversos aeropuertos del país. Esta huelga programada se extenderá hasta el 30 de noviembre, las 24 horas.

En ediciones anteriores la huelga no ha tenido un impacto considerable en las operaciones aéreas, con la excepción de retrasos significativos reportados en varios aeropuertos, siendo el aeropuerto César Manrique Lanzarote (ACE) uno de los más afectados. En este aeropuerto, se están reportaron retrasos significativos de forma generalizada, lo que le ha valido la distinción de ser el aeropuerto con peor puntualidad en Europa durante los días de huelga. Según se reporta, dos de cada tres vuelos entrantes y tres de cada cuatro salientes experimentaron demoras.

The Air Traffic Controllers Union (USCA) and the Workers’ Commission (CCOO) have called a strike in the control towers managed by Saerco and Skyway, affecting several airports in the country. The strike is scheduled to last until 30 November, 24 hours a day.

In previous edidiones the strike has not had a considerable impact on air operations, with the exception of significant delays reported at several airports, with César Manrique Lanzarote Airport (ACE) being one of the most affected. At this airport, significant delays are being reported across the board, earning it the distinction of being the airport with the worst punctuality in Europe during the strike days. Reportedly, two out of three inbound flights and three out of four outbound flights experienced delays.
