Un automóvil a alta velocidad se estrelló y se incendió en el Puente Rainbow, el cual conecta el estado de Nueva York en los Estados Unidos y la provincia de Ontario en Canadá, cerca de las Cataratas del Niágara. El incidente ha provado una alarma de seguridad que llevó al cierre temporal de cuatro cruces fronterizos entre Estados Unidos y Canadá.
Se ha descartado la posibilidad de un acto de terrorismo. La investigación, sin embargo, continúa para determinar si el choque fue accidental o intencional. El aerpuerto más cercano es el de Búfalo-Niágara (IATA: BUF)

United States and Canada: Border security incident.
A speeding car crashed and caught fire on the Rainbow Bridge, which connects the state of New York in the United States and the province of Ontario in Canada, near Niagara Falls. The incident has caused a security alert that led to the temporary closure of four border crossings between the United States and Canada.
The possibility of an act of terrorism has been ruled out. The investigation, however, is continuing to determine whether the crash was accidental or intentional. The nearest airport is Buffalo-Niagara (IATA: BUF).
As a precautionary measure, the Rainbow Bridge and three other border crossings along the Niagara River between Western New York and the province of Ontario in Canada – the Peace Bridge, the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge and the Whirlpool Bridge – were closed for several hours.
