Consular authorities in Denmark have issued a security alert for travellers planning to visit Copenhagen. An increase in pickpocketing activity has been observed, particularly in crowded areas such as the Central Station (CPH), the long-distance bus stop, City Hall Square and around the Changing of the Guard in front of Amalienborg Palace.
The local police have intensified their surveillance in and around the «Christiania Free State» neighbourhood. For the next six months, until 10 July 2024.
