Perú. Actualización de las recomendaciones del Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores.
El Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores español ha realizado una serie de actualizaciones para aquellos viajeros que quieran desplazarse al país andino.
Debido a las lluvias que recientemente azotaron el norte del país, se ha elevado la incidencia del dengue. Esta enfermedad es prácticamente endémica en el país, por lo que es importante estar pendientes de las recomendaciones sanitarias peruanas para conocer las zonas donde tenga presencia estos brotes.
En lo que respecta a la entrada en el país, la normativa peruana establece la exigencia de presentar un pasaporte con una vigencia mínima de seis meses. En caso contrario, las autoridades migratorias peruanas prohibirán el ingreso del viajero y podrá ser devuelto a su país de procedencia.
Se aconseja también viajar con prudencia por todo el territorio. Se recomienda a los viajeros que permanezcan atentos a los anuncios de las autoridades y medios locales, y que sigan las recomendaciones de las autoridades peruanas, tomando siempre las debidas precauciones durante sus desplazamientos fuera del hotel o alojamiento.
En el caso de que el acceso a Perú sea por frontera terrestre, es muy importante que tenga un sello de entrada en su pasaporte. La ausencia de ese sello puede ser interpretado por las autoridades peruanas como una irregularidad en el ingreso, y razón para que no se pueda salir del país. Los plazos en la regularización de este trámite es tediosa, larga y puede significar varios días de estancia obligada en el Perú.
Se recomienda asesorarse bien antes de iniciar cualquier viaje sobre todo si es fuera de los circuitos turísticos más transitados.

The Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a series of updates for travellers to the Andean country.
Due to the recent rains in the north of the country, the incidence of dengue fever has risen. This disease is practically endemic in the country, so it is important to be aware of the Peruvian health recommendations in order to know the areas where these outbreaks are present.
Regarding entry into the country, Peruvian regulations establish the requirement to present a passport that is valid for at least six months. If this is not the case, the Peruvian immigration authorities will prohibit the traveller’s entry and he or she may be sent back to his or her country of origin.
Travellers are also advised to travel with caution throughout the country. Travellers are advised to remain attentive to announcements from local authorities and media, and to follow the recommendations of the Peruvian authorities, always taking the necessary precautions when travelling outside their hotel or accommodation.
In the event that you enter Peru by land border, it is very important that you have an entry stamp in your passport. The absence of this stamp may be interpreted by the Peruvian authorities as an irregularity in entry, and a reason for not being able to leave the country. The time required to complete this procedure is tedious, lengthy and can mean several days of obligatory stay in Peru.
It is advisable to seek advice before embarking on any trip, especially if it is off the beaten tourist track.
