Portugal. Aumento de tasa turística.
El Ayuntamiento de Lisboa ha aprobado recientemente un incremento en las tasas turísticas, que afectará tanto a las pernoctaciones como a los pasajeros de cruceros que desembarquen en la ciudad. A partir de la entrada en vigor, los viajeros deberán abonar 4 euros por noche en lugar de los 2 euros que se venían pagando hasta ahora en los hoteles y otros alojamientos de Lisboa y se pondrá en funcionamiento durante el mes de mayo. Este aumento de tasas puede encontrarse en otros municipios.
Además, desde abril, los pasajeros de cruceros que lleguen al puerto de Lisboa (LIS) están obligados a pagar una tasa de 2 euros por desembarque. La decisión busca compensar el impacto ambiental y logístico que el turismo de cruceros impone en la ciudad.

The Lisbon City Council has recently approved an increase in tourist taxes, which will affect both overnight stays and cruise ship passengers disembarking in the city. From now on, travellers will have to pay 4 euros per night instead of the 2 euros they have been paying until now in hotels and other accommodation in Lisbon and it will be implemented during the month of May. This fee increase can be found in other municipalities.
In addition, since April, cruise passengers arriving at the port of Lisbon (LIS) have been obliged to pay a 2 euro disembarkation fee. The decision aims to compensate for the environmental and logistical impact that cruise tourism imposes on the city.
