Varios tramos del sistema de metro y Overground de Londres quedarán fuera de servicio este fin de semana, afectando las conexiones con distintos puntos de la ciudad y los aeropuertos internacionales. Entre las principales alteraciones destacan interrupciones en la línea Elizabeth, la línea Hammersmith & City, la línea Waterloo & City y diversas secciones del Overground.
En la línea Elizabeth no habrá servicio entre Stratford y Shenfield. En su lugar, se han dispuesto autobuses de reemplazo para los viajeros. El domingo, además, entre las 00:04 hora local y las 07:40, no operarán trenes entre Paddington y Ealing Broadway. A partir de las 07:40, la frecuencia de los trenes será reducida en varios tramos de la línea. Solo habrá dos trenes por hora en estaciones como Acton Main Line, Hanwell, Heathrow Terminal 4 (LHR), West Drayton, Langley, Slough, Burnham y Maidenhead. Para las terminales 2 y 3 de Heathrow (LHR) y la estación de West Ealing, el servicio se reducirá a cuatro trenes por hora, mientras que en Ealing Broadway, Southall y Hayes & Harlington, habrá una frecuencia de seis trenes por hora.
Estas interrupciones afectan principalmente a los viajeros que se desplazan entre la ciudad y el aeropuerto de Londres-Heathrow (LHR), una de las principales puertas de entrada y salida del país.
La línea Hammersmith & City estará suspendida. El domingo, de 10:00 a 18:00, no habrá trenes entre Plaistow y Barking. Como alternativa, Transport for London (TfL) recomienda utilizar los servicios de la línea District.
No habrá servicio en la línea Waterloo & City durante todo el fin de semana, ni tampoco en días festivos.
En el caso del servicio Overground, la línea Liberty no operará entre Romford y Upminster durante todo el fin de semana. Se recomienda el uso de los autobuses urbanos de Londres como alternativa. En la línea Mildmay se suspende el servicio entre Gospel Oak y Stratford. Se han dispuesto autobuses de reemplazo entre Hampstead Heath y Stratford, con paradas en Gospel Oak, Kentish Town West, Camden Road, Holloway Road, Highbury & Islington, Canonbury, Dalston Junction, Hackney Central, Homerton y Hackney Wick.
En el caso de la línea Windrush los trenes no circularán entre Highbury & Islington y New Cross, Clapham Junction, Battersea Park, Crystal Palace o West Croydon, afectando también los servicios nocturnos de Overground los viernes y sábados por la noche. Durante el día, los autobuses de reemplazo estarán operativos; sin embargo, por la noche, TfL recomienda utilizar los autobuses de Londres y los servicios de metro nocturno.
Los cierres en las líneas de metro y Overground pueden generar retrasos en los traslados hacia los aeropuertos internacionales de Londres, en especial Heathrow (LHR). Se recomienda a los viajeros planificar sus desplazamientos con antelación, consultar rutas alternativas y prever mayor tiempo de viaje.

Several sections of London’s underground and Overground system will be out of service this weekend, affecting connections to different parts of the city and international airports. Major disruptions include service interruptions on the Elizabeth line, the Hammersmith & City line, the Waterloo & City line and various sections of the Overground.
There will be no Elizabeth line service between Stratford and Shenfield. Replacement buses have been arranged for travellers. On Sunday, between 00:04 local time and 07:40, there will be no trains between Paddington and Ealing Broadway. From 07:40, the frequency of trains will be reduced on several sections of the line. There will only be two trains per hour at stations such as Acton Main Line, Hanwell, Heathrow Terminal 4 (LHR), West Drayton, Langley, Slough, Burnham and Maidenhead. For those who need to travel between central London and the airports, it is suggested that they use rail services such as the Heathrow Express from Paddington to Heathrow (LHR), or alternatively, use the replacement buses provided by TfL. It is also advisable to check the real-time status of public transport through the official TfL platforms.
