El sistema ferroviario de Bélgica continúa viéndose afectado por una huelga del personal de la Compañía Nacional de Ferrocarriles Belgas (SNCB), lo que está generando importantes interrupciones tanto en el tráfico regional como en las conexiones internacionales, incluidos los accesos a aeropuertos y los trayectos transfronterizos con Luxemburgo (LUX). La huelga se extenderá desde las 22:00 horas del lunes 14 de abril hasta las 22:00 horas del martes 15 de abril.
Durante este periodo, circularán únicamente: 7 de cada 10 trenes Intercity (IC), 6 de cada 10 trenes de tipo S y L y muy pocos trenes P (servicios reforzados durante las horas punta). Además, varias estaciones no recibirán servicio ferroviario alguno: Bruselas-Chapelle, Buda, Callenelle, Harchies, Maubray y Ville-Pommeroeul.
Las alteraciones afectan especialmente al acceso ferroviario a los principales aeropuertos internacionales de Bélgica: el Aeropuerto de Bruselas (BRU), principal punto de conexión internacional del país, con servicios de trenes de alta velocidad Thalys y Eurostar; el Aeropuerto de Charleroi (CRL), afectado por las interrupciones en los servicios de trenes regionales y el Aeropuerto de Amberes (ANR), afectado en menor medida.
Las conexiones internacionales hacia ciudades como París (CDG), Londres (LHR), Ámsterdam (AMS) y Colonia (CGN) podrán sufrir perturbaciones. Asimismo, la circulación de trenes entre Bélgica y Luxemburgo (LUX) también se verá comprometida durante este periodo. Los Ferrocarriles de Luxemburgo (CFL) han informado de retrasos y cancelaciones en la línea transfronteriza y han recomendado a los viajeros que consulten los horarios actualizados a través del sitio web oficial de CFL o mediante su aplicación móvil.
Se mantiene operativo el servicio de autobuses de reemplazo entre Arlon y Luxemburgo, implementado anteriormente por CFL debido a obras de infraestructura en la línea Luxemburgo – Kleinbettingen – Arlon.
Se recuerda que hay una nueva convocatoria de huelga prevista entre las 22:00 horas del lunes 21 de abril y las 22:00 horas del martes 22 de abril, lo que podría prolongar las alteraciones en la red ferroviaria.

– Los viajeros con conexiones internacionales en tren hacia París (CDG), Londres (LHR), Ámsterdam (AMS) o Colonia (CGN) deben revisar el estado de los trenes Thalys y Eurostar.
Belgium. The railway strike disrupts access to airports. 14th and 15th April.
Belgium’s rail system continues to be affected by a strike by staff of the Belgian National Railway Company (SNCB), which is causing major disruptions to both regional traffic and international connections, including access to airports and cross-border routes with Luxembourg (LUX). The strike will last from 22:00 on Monday 14 April until 22:00 on Tuesday 15 April.
During this period, only 7 out of 10 Intercity (IC) trains, 6 out of 10 S and L trains and very few P trains (reinforced services during peak hours) will run. In addition, several stations will not receive any rail service: Brussels-Chapelle, Buda, Callenelle, Harchies, Maubray and Ville-Pommeroeul.
The alterations particularly affect rail access to Belgium’s main international airports: Brussels Airport (BRU), the country’s main international connection point, with Thalys and Eurostar high-speed train services; Charleroi Airport (CRL), affected by disruptions to regional train services; and Antwerp Airport (ANR), which is affected to a lesser extent.
International connections to cities such as Paris (CDG), London (LHR), Amsterdam (AMS) and Cologne (CGN) may be disrupted. Similarly, train services between Belgium and Luxembourg (LUX) will also be affected during this period. Luxembourg Railways (CFL) has reported delays and cancellations on the cross-border line and has advised passengers to check the updated timetables on the official CFL website or via its mobile app.
The replacement bus service between Arlon and Luxembourg, previously implemented by CFL due to infrastructure works on the Luxembourg – Kleinbettingen – Arlon line, remains in operation.
A reminder that there is a new strike planned between 22:00 on Monday 21st April and 22:00 on Tuesday 22nd April, which could prolong the disruptions to the rail network.

– Those who need to travel between Belgium and Luxembourg should check the timetables and possible cancellations on the CFL website.
