Italia. Huelga de transporte local suspendida en todo el país salvo en Génova. 26 de abril.

El 26 de abril se desarrollará con normalidad en la mayoría de las ciudades italianas tras la suspensión de la huelga de transporte local inicialmente prevista para esa jornada. La medida ha sido desconvocada a nivel nacional, salvo en la ciudad de Génova (GOA), donde persistirá una interrupción parcial del servicio.

La cancelación de la huelga afectará positivamente al funcionamiento del transporte urbano e intermodal en ciudades clave como Roma (ROM, FCO, CIA), Milán (MIL, MXP, LIN, BGY), Nápoles (NAP), Turín (TRN), Florencia (FLR), Bolonia (BLQ) y Palermo (PMO). Estas urbes han confirmado que el transporte público funcionará de manera habitual, sin interrupciones, lo que garantiza las conexiones con sus respectivos aeropuertos internacionales.

En Roma (FCO, CIA), los servicios como el Leonardo Express que conecta el centro de la ciudad con el aeropuerto de Fiumicino (FCO) operarán con normalidad. En Milán (MXP, LIN), tanto el Malpensa Express como las conexiones con Linate (LIN) y Bérgamo-Orio al Serio (BGY) no se verán afectadas. Asimismo, Bolonia (BLQ) mantendrá el servicio del Marconi Express hacia su aeropuerto internacional.

La excepción se presenta en Génova (GOA), donde AMT ha confirmado que el transporte urbano —autobuses, metro y el ferrocarril Genova-Casella— se detendrá entre las 09:30 y las 17:00 horas. Además, los servicios extraurbanos provinciales se suspenderán de 09:00 a 17:00 horas y las taquillas permanecerán cerradas entre las 09:00 y las 16:30. No obstante, se garantiza la operación normal de los vehículos hasta las 09:00 horas y su reanudación a partir de las 17:00.

Esta reprogramación coincide con el funeral de Estado por las exequias del Papa Francisco, evento que se celebrará en Roma y que prevé la asistencia de líderes internacionales. Las autoridades italianas han comenzado a reforzar la seguridad en la capital ante este evento.

– Para los viajeros en Génova (GOA) se aconseja planificar rutas alternativas durante el horario de la huelga, especialmente si requieren transporte urbano para llegar al aeropuerto Cristoforo Colombo (GOA) o trasladarse dentro de la ciudad.
– En el resto de Italia se espera normalidad en el transporte urbano e intermodal, por lo que no se prevén impactos significativos en la conectividad con los aeropuertos.
– Para los viajeros con vuelos programados desde o hacia Roma (FCO, CIA) se recomienda prever tiempos adicionales en los desplazamientos hacia los aeropuertos debido al refuerzo de seguridad en la ciudad por el funeral de Estado.
