Portugal. Huelga ferroviaria afectará conexiones aéreas y terrestres. 28 de abril
El sindicato portugués SFRCI ha convocado una huelga general de ferrocarril que tendrá lugar el lunes 28 de abril con posibles repercusiones los días previos y posteriores. Se prevén importantes interrupciones en los servicios ferroviarios de largo, medio y corto recorrido en todo el país, incluyendo los trenes Alfa Pendular, Intercidades, Internacionales, Interregionales y Regionales.
La huelga afectará la movilidad de los viajeros, incluyendo aquellos con conexiones hacia o desde los principales aeropuertos internacionales de Portugal. Las regiones más afectadas serán:
– Lisboa (LIS): los servicios ferroviarios que conectan la estación de Lisboa-Oriente con el aeropuerto Humberto Delgado (LIS) pueden sufrir retrasos o cancelaciones. Esto podría perjudicar los enlaces desde ciudades como Porto (OPO) y Faro (FAO).
– Oporto (OPO): los trayectos hacia la estación de Campanhã, que conecta con trenes de largo recorrido y el aeropuerto Francisco Sá Carneiro (OPO) podrían interrumpirse.
– Faro (FAO): en el sur del país, las conexiones entre el Algarve y el aeropuerto internacional de Faro (FAO) se verán afectadas por la interrupción de trenes regionales.
Los servicios ferroviarios internacionales con origen o destino en España también podrían verse alterados, afectando a los viajeros que utilicen rutas transfronterizas como Lisboa-Madrid o Porto-Vigo.
Las alteraciones en los servicios ferroviarios pueden provocar una mayor afluencia en los servicios alternativos como autobuses, servicios de transporte compartido y taxis, especialmente en los accesos a los aeropuertos, donde se espera un incremento del tráfico rodado.
– Se recomienda a los viajeros que tengan vuelos programados entre el 27 y el 29 de abril desde o hacia Lisboa (LIS), Oporto (OPO) y Faro (FAO) que prevean llegar al aeropuerto con mayor antelación de lo habitual y consideren medios de transporte alternativos ante posibles cancelaciones ferroviarias.
– Es aconsejable consultar con antelación el estado de los servicios ferroviarios a través de la página oficial de Comboios de Portugal y con la compañía aérea para verificar posibles cambios en los vuelos.
– Los viajeros que hayan adquirido billetes para los servicios ferroviarios afectados podrán solicitar el reembolso íntegro o cambiar su billete sin coste adicional por otro tren de la misma categoría y clase.
– Dado que aún no se han anunciado los servicios mínimos que se garantizarán durante la huelga, se sugiere a los viajeros mantenerse informados a través de fuentes oficiales.
– En la medida de lo posible, se aconseja evitar desplazamientos durante los días críticos y reprogramar viajes no urgentes para fechas posteriores.

The Portuguese union SFRCI has called a general railway strike to take place on Monday 28 April, with possible repercussions on the days before and after. Significant disruptions are expected to long-, medium- and short-distance rail services throughout the country, including Alfa Pendular, Intercidades, International, Interregional and Regional trains.
The strike will affect the mobility of passengers, including those with connections to or from Portugal’s main international airports. The regions most affected will be:
– Lisbon (LIS): rail services connecting Lisbon-Oriente station with Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS) may be delayed or cancelled. This could affect connections from cities such as Porto (OPO) and Faro (FAO).
– Porto (OPO): services to Campanhã station, which connects to long-distance trains and Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (OPO), may be disrupted.
– Faro (FAO): in the south of the country, connections between the Algarve and Faro International Airport (FAO) will be affected by the disruption of regional trains.
International rail services to and from Spain may also be disrupted, affecting passengers using cross-border routes such as Lisbon-Madrid or Porto-Vigo.
Disruptions to rail services may lead to increased demand for alternative services such as buses, shared transport services and taxis, especially at airport access points, where increased traffic is expected.
– Travellers with flights scheduled between 27 and 29 April to or from Lisbon (LIS), Porto (OPO) and Faro (FAO) are advised to arrive at the airport earlier than usual and consider alternative means of transport in case of possible train cancellations.
– It is advisable to check the status of rail services in advance on the official website of Comboios de Portugal and with the airline to verify any possible changes to flights.
– Travellers who have purchased tickets for the affected rail services may request a full refund or change their ticket at no additional cost for another train of the same category and class.
– As the minimum services that will be guaranteed during the strike have not yet been announced, travellers are advised to stay informed through official sources.
– As far as possible, it is advisable to avoid travel during the critical days and reschedule non-urgent trips to later dates.
