La huelga de autobuses urbanos e interurbanos en la Comunidad de Madrid, que estaba prevista a partir del 30 de abril ha sido oficialmente desconvocada. La convocatoria incluía paros intermitentes que iban a afectar el transporte público regional durante varias jornadas entre finales de abril y el mes de mayo.

Los paros habrían tenido un impacto directo en la movilidad de los viajeros, especialmente en los traslados hacia y desde los principales aeropuertos internacionales de la región, como el Aeropuerto Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas (MAD), dificultando el acceso tanto desde el centro de Madrid (MAD) como desde áreas interurbanas de la comunidad.

La huelga afectaba a los servicios de autobuses que operan dentro del área metropolitana de Madrid (MAD) así como a los servicios interurbanos que conectan con localidades del corredor del Henares, la zona sur y oeste de la comunidad, y otros núcleos relevantes con tránsito habitual de viajeros. Estaban previstos paros totales para los días 30 de abril y 4 de mayo, desde las 00:00 hasta las 23:59 horas, y paros parciales en franjas horarias críticas (de 05:00 a 09:00 y de 17:00 a 21:00 horas) los días 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, 27 y 29 de mayo.

Aunque los servicios mínimos estaban previstos para garantizar cierta continuidad en el transporte, el desarrollo de la huelga habría provocado retrasos en los traslados hacia el aeropuerto Madrid-Barajas (MAD), especialmente en las primeras y últimas horas del día, cuando muchos vuelos internacionales operan sus salidas o llegadas.

La desconvocatoria supone una normalización de las conexiones terrestres entre el centro de la ciudad de Madrid (MAD), sus municipios colindantes y el aeropuerto internacional, incluyendo servicios clave como la línea exprés del aeropuerto y autobuses lanzadera de largo recorrido.

– Los viajeros con vuelos programados desde o hacia Madrid-Barajas (MAD) ya no deben prever alteraciones por huelgas en el servicio de autobuses urbanos e interurbanos de la Comunidad de Madrid durante las fechas inicialmente señaladas.
– Se recomienda, no obstante, mantenerse informados a través de los canales oficiales de transporte de la Comunidad de Madrid por si se produjeran nuevas convocatorias o modificaciones.
– Para los desplazamientos hacia el aeropuerto (MAD), se aconseja considerar también medios alternativos como el metro (línea 8), taxis o servicios de transporte compartido en caso de alta demanda en horas punta.

The strike of urban and interurban buses in the Community of Madrid, which was scheduled to begin on 30 April, has been officially called off. The strike included intermittent stoppages that were going to affect regional public transport for several days between the end of April and the month of May.

The stoppages would have had a direct impact on passenger mobility, especially on journeys to and from the region’s main international airports, such as Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD), making access difficult both from the centre of Madrid (MAD) and from interurban areas of the community.

The strike affected bus services operating within the Madrid metropolitan area (MAD) as well as interurban services connecting with towns in the Henares corridor, the southern and western areas of the community, and other relevant centres with regular passenger traffic. Total stoppages were planned for 30 April and 4 May, from midnight to 11:59 p.m., and partial stoppages during critical time slots (from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.) on 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, 27 and 29 May.

Although minimum services were planned to ensure some continuity in transport, the strike would have caused delays in transfers to Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD), especially in the early and late hours of the day, when many international flights operate their departures or arrivals.

The cancellation of the strike means that land connections between the centre of Madrid (MAD), its neighbouring municipalities and the international airport will return to normal, including key services such as the airport express line and long-distance shuttle buses.

– Passengers with flights scheduled to or from Madrid-Barajas (MAD) should no longer expect disruptions due to strikes on urban and interurban bus services in the Community of Madrid during the dates initially indicated.
– However, it is recommended that passengers stay informed through the official transport channels of the Community of Madrid in case of new announcements or changes.
– For journeys to the airport (MAD), it is also advisable to consider alternative means of transport such as the metro (line 8), taxis or shared transport services in case of high demand during rush hour.
