Durante el sábado 17 y domingo 18 de mayo el servicio ferroviario de Media Distancia entre Sevilla (SVQ) y Málaga (AGP) se verá interrumpido parcialmente debido a trabajos de mejora en la infraestructura. Renfe ha previsto un plan alternativo de transporte por carretera para los trayectos afectados, con el fin de mantener la movilidad de los viajeros durante ambos días.
Los servicios de Media Distancia entre Sevilla (SVQ) y Málaga (AGP), en ambos sentidos, operarán mediante un esquema combinado de autobús y tren. En total, se han dispuesto 66 autobuses que cubrirán el tramo comprendido entre Sevilla y Antequera Santa Ana (147 km) sustituyendo a los trenes que habitualmente recorren este trayecto. El resto del recorrido hasta Málaga se realizará en tren, manteniendo las paradas intermedias habituales en Bobadilla, El Chorro-Caminito, Las Mellizas y Álora.
Los viajeros que partan desde Sevilla podrán acceder al servicio alternativo de autobuses en las estaciones de Sevilla Santa Justa, San Bernardo y Dos Hermanas. Las rutas por carretera incluirán paradas en Arahal, Marchena, Osuna y Pedrera antes de enlazar con el servicio ferroviario en Antequera Santa Ana.
Este plan afecta a 22 servicios de Media Distancia: 10 correspondientes al sábado y 12 al domingo. Se espera que la interrupción tenga un impacto moderado en los desplazamientos habituales de fin de semana, especialmente para los viajeros que realizan conexiones entre Sevilla (SVQ), Málaga (AGP) y otras regiones con tráfico aéreo relevante.

On Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th May, the Media Distancia train service between Seville (SVQ) and Malaga (AGP) will be partially interrupted due to infrastructure improvement works.
