Qatar
Qatar organizará la Copa Mundial de Fútbol entre el 20 de noviembre y el 18 de diciembre de 2022. Asegúrese de tener mucho cuidado con su pasaporte. Si pierde su pasaporte, no podrá entrar en Qatar y tendrá que volver a casa.
Las autoridades qataríes han anunciado que hasta el 23 de enero de 2023, sólo permitirán la entrada a los titulares de la tarjeta Hayya, residentes y nacionales de Qatar. Los ciudadanos de Emiratos Arabes Unidos titulares de una tarjeta de identificación qatarí, los titulares de visados personales, los permisos de entrada por motivos de trabajo y los casos humanitarios aprobados podrán entrar durante este periodo. La tarjeta Hayya servirá como único permiso de entrada para los visitantes, y no se expedirá ningún otro permiso estándar de visita o viaje, ni siquiera de exención de visado, durante este periodo.
Para solicitar la tarjeta Hayya, será necesario adquirir previamente una entrada para un partido de fútbol del Mundial. Adicionalmente, para los turistas que no tengan residencia en Qatar, será necesario que realicen una reserva de alojamiento. Tanto la entrada como la reserva de alojamiento tendrán que ser introducidos en el portal para solicitar la tarjeta Hayya. Se recomienda realizar la solicitud de la tarjeta con la suficiente antelación, pues ésta tendrá que ser validada por las autoridades cataríes. Para el caso de turistas que vayan a realizar viajes de un día a Qatar, sin pasar la noche, para ver un partido, será necesario especificar la hora y fecha de los billetes de avión en el portal Hayya. En este caso, no será necesario realizar una reserva de hotel. Se recuerda que, en caso de incumplimiento del compromiso de salida de Qatar en el mismo día, será aplicada una multa diaria por incumplimiento de las condiciones de estancia.
Para el caso de residentes en Qatar que adquieran una entrada de fútbol, no será necesario realizar una reserva adicional de alojamiento. En todo caso, será necesario obtener una tarjeta Hayya, utilizando su Qatar ID para rellenar el formulario de solicitud, que será necesaria, junto a la entrada, para acceder a los estadios.

Qatar will host the World Cup between 20 November and 18 December 2022. If you’re heading to Qatar for the World Cup, make sure you take extra care with your passport. If you lose your passport, you won’t be able to enter Qatar and will have to return home.
The Qatari authorities have now announced that effective from 1 November 2022 to 23 January 2023, they will only allow entry to only Hayya card holders, residents and nationals of Qatar. The Hayya Card will serve as the only entry permit for visitors, and no other standard visit or travel or even visa-free permits will be issued during this period.
Residents and GCC citizens holding a Qatari ID card, holders of personal visas, work entry permits, and approved humanitarian cases will be allowed entry during this period.
In order to apply for a Hajjah Card, a ticket for a World Cup football match must be purchased in advance. Additionally, for tourists who are not resident in Qatar, an accommodation reservation is required. Both the ticket and the accommodation booking will need to be entered into the portal to apply for the Hayya Card. It is recommended to apply for the card well in advance, as the card will need to be validated by the Qatari authorities. For tourists making day trips to Qatar, without an overnight stay, to watch a match, it will be necessary to specify the time and date of the flight tickets on the Hayya portal. In this case, it will not be necessary to make a hotel reservation. Please note that in case of non-compliance with the commitment to leave Qatar on the same day, a daily fine will be applied for non-compliance with the conditions of stay.
In the case of Qatar residents purchasing a football ticket, no additional accommodation booking will be required. Vueling strike in Spain. The Spanish minister of transport has mandated minimum services of 22% to 80%. All Fridays, Sundays, and Mondays throughout this three-month period are affected by the strike call, as are numerous days on or immediately before the following public holidays: December 6th, 8th, 24th, and 31st; and January 5th.

Reino Unido. Los trabajadores del aeropuerto de Heathrow convocan huelga de tres días a partir del 18 de noviembre.
El personal de tierra del aeropuerto londinense de Heathrow está planeando una huelga de tres días a partir del 18 de noviembre. Se calcula que más de 700 trabajadores tienen previsto participar en la huelga. La huelga se producirá en los días previos al Mundial de Fútbol, que comienza el 20 de noviembre.
Entre el personal que tiene previsto participar en la huelga se encuentran los empleados de tierra, de transporte aéreo y de carga contratados por las empresas Menzies y Dnata.

UK. Heathrow Airport Workers Are Planning A 3 Day Strike from Nov. 18.
Ground personnel at London Heathrow Airport are planning a three-day strike beginning November 18th. It is estimated that over 700 workers plan to participate in the walk-out. The strike will occur in the days leading up to the World Cup, which begins November 20th.
The staff that plan to participate in the strike include ground handlers, airside transport, and cargo workers employed by third-party companies Menzies and Dnata.
The workers union, Unite, stated that the strikes would cause significant disruptions in flight schedules at terminals 2, 3, and 4. It noted that Qatar Airways would be particularly affected by the strike as it will be operating 10 flights a week to LHR during the World Cup.
Unite noted that several other airlines will also be affected, including Singapore Airlines, Emirates, Virgin Atlantic, and Cathay Pacific.
Travelers flying to or from LHR are advised to confirm the status of their flights and anticipate continuing flight disruptions (e.g. delays and cancelations).

A national strike is planned for November 21 by road freight transport professionals, due to the continuous rise in the price of fuels costs. Reportedly,16 unions may call for the strike action. The duration of the strike action is currently unknown.
Bus service disruptions may lead to increased demand for alternative modes of transport.Fuel shortages are possible if tanker drivers participate in the action.
Allow additional time for travel and confirm public transport schedules on strike days. Seek alternative means of transport if needed. Avoid possible protest sites as a precaution.

The main targets have been infrastructure, police and military vehicles, and security and administrative personnel. There have also been civilian targets, including hotels, restaurants, bars, shopping malls, schools, petrol stations and supermarkets. Exercise caution in townships under martial law. A curfew remains in place. There have been widespread detentions, including of foreigners.
