En Francia, la huelga de controladores aéreos programada para los días 11, 12 y 13 de junio en el aeropuerto de París-Orly (ORY) ha sido suspendida tras el anuncio de elecciones legislativas anticipadas. La Dirección General de Aviación Civil (DGAC) informó que de haberse mantenido, el paro habría resultado en la cancelación del 25% de los vuelos en este aeródromo, el segundo más grande de la capital, después de París-Charles de Gaulle (CDG).
Este conflicto laboral coincide cuando París se prepara para ser la sede de los próximos Juegos Olímpicos, que se celebrarán del 26 de julio al 14 de agosto, poniendo en riesgo la eficiencia del servicio aéreo necesario para el evento.
Eurocontrol ha confirmado la suspensión de la huelga en París-Orly (ORY), pero ha advertido que las huelgas programadas en los aeropuertos de Nantes (NTE) y Marsella (MRS) seguirán adelante según lo previsto. En el aeropuerto de Nantes, el paro afectará a la operatividad durante 24 horas, desde las 06:00 del 11 de junio hasta las 06:00 del 12 de junio, con un servicio reducido al 25% entre las 20:00 y las 00:00 horas del día 11. Por su parte, en Marsella, la huelga comenzará a las 17:00 horas del 11 de junio y finalizará a las 07:00 horas del 12 de junio.
– Se recomienda a los viajeros que tengan previsto volar desde o hacia los aeropuertos afectados durante estas fechas que consulten con sus aerolíneas para confirmar el estado de sus vuelos y que exploren alternativas para sus viajes.
– Es aconsejable llegar con anticipación a los aeropuertos y prepararse para posibles demoras o cambios en los itinerarios.

In France, the air traffic controllers’ strike scheduled for 11, 12 and 13 June at Paris-Orly airport (ORY) has been suspended following the announcement of early legislative elections. At Nantes airport, the strike will affect operations for 24 hours, from 06:00 on 11 June to 06:00 on 12 June, with a 25% reduction in service between 20:00 and 00:00 on 11 June. At Marseille, the strike will begin at 17:00 on 11 June and end at 07:00 on 12 June.
– Travellers planning to fly to or from the affected airports during these dates are advised to check with their airlines to confirm the status of their flights and to explore alternative travel arrangements.
