Reino Unido. Interrupciones en el servicio de Heathrow Express. 8 de diciembre.
Debido a una serie de obras de mejora ferroviaria planificadas, el servicio de Heathrow Express sufrirá alteraciones entre las 00:01 y las 23:00 hora local del 8 de diciembre. Estos trabajos afectarán a diversas rutas y horarios, principalmente en las conexiones desde y hacia London Paddington y las terminales del Aeropuerto de Heathrow (LHR), incluyendo la Terminal 5 y Heathrow Central.
El servicio estará suspendido hasta las 07:20 horas.
Desde London Paddington, el primer servicio saldrá a las 07:40 horas. A partir de esa hora, habrá servicios cada 15 minutos hasta las 09:55 horas. Después, los trenes operarán con una frecuencia reducida durante el resto del día.
Desde la Terminal 5 de Heathrow (LHR), el primer servicio será a las 07:27, luego cada 15 minutos hasta las 10:27 horas. Posteriormente, los servicios tendrán una frecuencia reducida durante el resto del día.
Desde Heathrow Central, el primer servicio tendrá lugar a las 07:32 y luego cada 15 minutos hasta las 10:32 horas. Después los trenes operarán con una frecuencia reducida durante el resto del día.
Estas interrupciones afectarán a los viajeros que se desplacen desde y hacia el Aeropuerto de Heathrow (LHR), el principal aeropuerto internacional que sirve a Londres. Las conexiones con otros aeropuertos cercanos, como Gatwick (LGW), Stansted (STN), Luton (LTN) y London City (LCY), podrían verse indirectamente afectadas debido al aumento en la demanda de servicios de transporte alternativos.
Se recomienda a los viajeros planificar sus desplazamientos con antelación y considerar alternativas como el metro de Londres (línea Piccadilly), los servicios de TfL Rail, autobuses o taxis para llegar al centro de la ciudad o al aeropuerto.

Due to a series of planned rail improvement works, the Heathrow Express service will be disrupted between 00:01 and 23:00 local time on 8 December. Travellers are advised to plan their journeys in advance and consider alternative options such as the London Underground (Piccadilly line), TfL Rail services, buses or taxis to reach the city centre or airport.
