España. Actualización. La huelga del SDP del Aeropuerto de Barajas con bajo impacto en la operatividad aérea.
El Aeropuerto Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas (MAD) se encuentra en medio de una huelga que dio inicio el 10 de diciembre y se extenderá hasta el sábado 14 de diciembre, desarrollándose diariamente entre las 07:00 y las 23:59 hora local.
Aunque se esperaba un impacto significativo, con estimaciones iniciales de hasta 2.000 vuelos cancelados y más de 5.000 operaciones afectadas, el inicio de la huelga ha transcurrido sin alto impacto en la operativa del aeropuerto. Según fuentes oficiales, los vuelos programados se han realizado con normalidad.
El Ministerio de Transportes, Movilidad y Agenda Urbana ha decretado servicios mínimos para garantizar el correcto funcionamiento del aeropuerto durante los días de protesta. Esta resolución establece la presencia de al menos el 82,5 % de la plantilla, es decir, 18 trabajadores por jornada, quienes desempeñan labores críticas para la seguridad y eficiencia de las operaciones aeroportuarias.
Entre las funciones de este personal se encuentran:
1. La regulación del movimiento de aeronaves para evitar colisiones.
2. La coordinación entre la entrada y salida de aeronaves con la torre de control.
3. La gestión del movimiento seguro de vehículos en la plataforma.
4. La supervisión de actividades como asignación de puestos de estacionamiento, repostaje de aeronaves y procedimientos de rodaje.
Aunque las operaciones pueden no tener un alto impacto, se recomienda a los viajeros verificar el estado de los vuelos. Se aconseja llegar al aeropuerto con antelación y considerar un margen extra de tiempo para trámites y embarque.

Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD) is in the midst of a strike that began on 10 December and will last until Saturday 14 December, running daily between 07:00 and 23:59 local time.
Although a significant impact was expected, with initial estimates of up to 2,000 flights cancelled and more than 5,000 operations affected, the start of the strike has not had a major impact on the airport’s operations. According to official sources, scheduled flights have been carried out normally.
The Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda has decreed minimum services to guarantee the correct functioning of the airport during the days of protest. This resolution establishes the presence of at least 82.5% of the staff, i.e. 18 workers per day, who carry out critical tasks for the safety and efficiency of airport operations.
Among the functions of these staff are:
1. Regulating the movement of aircraft to avoid collisions.
2. Coordination between the entry and exit of aircraft with the control tower.
3. The management of the safe movement of vehicles on the apron.
4. Overseeing activities such as parking stand allocation, aircraft refuelling and taxiing procedures.
Although operations may not have a high impact, travellers are advised to check flight status. It is advisable to arrive at the airport early and allow extra time for formalities and boarding.
