España. Lluvias intensas y tormentas afectan la costa mediterránea y el Estrecho.
Las autoridades meteorológicas han advertido sobre precipitaciones intensas y persistentes que afectarán varias regiones de España a partir del 3 de marzo. Se espera que el fenómeno impacte especialmente en el Golfo de Cádiz, el Estrecho de Gibraltar y la Costa del Sol, así como en el sur de Tarragona y la Comunidad Valenciana.
Las lluvias más intensas podrían alcanzar acumulados de más de 100 mm en 12 horas en la Comunidad Valenciana, mientras que en Andalucía las precipitaciones estarán acompañadas de tormentas y posible granizo, con acumulaciones superiores a 80 mm en 12 horas en el Estrecho y la Costa del Sol.
Dada la intensidad de las precipitaciones, se prevén posibles afectaciones en los aeropuertos de las regiones mencionadas. Los aeropuertos internacionales más expuestos a retrasos o cancelaciones son Málaga-Costa del Sol (AGP), Sevilla (SVQ), Jerez (XRY), Valencia (VLC), Castellón (CDT), Alicante-Elche (ALC), Murcia (RMU), Almería (LEI), Reus (REU).
Los viajeros con vuelos desde o hacia estos aeropuertos podrían sufrir retrasos o modificaciones en sus itinerarios, especialmente en rutas nacionales y conexiones con otras ciudades europeas.
El martes 4 de marzo las lluvias más intensas se concentrarán en el tercio oriental de la península afectando a las provincias de Tarragona, Castellón y Valencia. No se descarta que las precipitaciones se extiendan hacia el interior y el norte de Alicante, así como nuevamente al Estrecho y la Costa del Sol. En esta jornada, se esperan acumulados de hasta 60 mm en 12 horas con posibilidad de tormentas localmente fuertes.
A partir del miércoles y hasta el jueves, continuará la situación de inestabilidad, con una mayor incertidumbre en la evolución del fenómeno. Sin embargo, se espera que las lluvias más abundantes se registren en el litoral mediterráneo y la zona de Alborán, incluyendo el Estrecho de Gibraltar. Las áreas más afectadas seguirán siendo Tarragona, Castellón, Valencia, Alicante, Murcia y Almería el miércoles, mientras que el jueves las precipitaciones se intensificarán en la Costa del Sol y el Estrecho.
– Se recomienda consultar el estado de los vuelos con las aerolíneas antes de dirigirse al aeropuerto, ya que podrían producirse retrasos o cancelaciones.
– Se aconseja planificar tiempos de desplazamiento con antelación ya que las lluvias podrían generar problemas en carreteras y accesos a los aeropuertos.
– Se sugiere evitar desplazamientos innecesarios en las zonas afectadas y mantenerse informado a través de fuentes oficiales sobre la evolución meteorológica.
– Revisar opciones de transporte en caso de interrupciones en vuelos o trenes de alta velocidad.
Los viajeros con vuelos programados desde o hacia los aeropuertos de las regiones afectadas deben estar atentos a posibles modificaciones en sus trayectos y seguir las recomendaciones de las autoridades aeroportuarias.
