Las autoridades meteorológicas han emitido una alerta naranja por fuertes precipitaciones en la Comunidad Valenciana, con especial incidencia en las provincias de Valencia, Castellón y Alicante. Se prevé que el fenómeno meteorológico se mantenga entre el 4 y el 6 de marzo, afectando tanto a las zonas costeras como al interior.
Según las previsiones, en el litoral norte de Alicante y en el interior sur de Valencia, así como en el litoral sur de Valencia y el interior norte de Castellón, las precipitaciones acumuladas podrían alcanzar los 100 mm en 12 horas y superar los 150 mm en 24 horas. La situación de inestabilidad persistirá el miércoles y el jueves, con acumulaciones superiores a los 100 mm en amplias zonas de Valencia y Castellón. En áreas cercanas, como el sur de Tarragona y el norte de Alicante, las lluvias podrían superar los 60 mm en 12 horas.
Por otro lado, el archipiélago canario también se verá afectado por precipitaciones intensas. Se esperan chubascos localmente fuertes o muy fuertes en las islas de mayor relieve, sin descartar episodios similares en Lanzarote y Fuerteventura para hoy y mañana miércoles.
Las condiciones meteorológicas adversas pueden afectar la operatividad de los principales aeropuertos de la región. En la Comunidad Valenciana, los aeropuertos de Valencia (VLC), Alicante-Elche (ALC) y Castellón (CDT) podrían registrar retrasos o cancelaciones, especialmente en los vuelos nacionales e internacionales que conectan con otras ciudades europeas.
En Canarias, los aeropuertos de Gran Canaria (LPA), Tenerife Norte (TFN), Tenerife Sur (TFS), Lanzarote (ACE) y Fuerteventura (FUE) podrían experimentar alteraciones en su operativa debido a la intensidad de las lluvias y posibles ráfagas de viento.
– Se recomienda a los viajeros con vuelos programados desde o hacia Valencia (VLC), Alicante (ALC), Castellón (CDT), Gran Canaria (LPA), Tenerife Norte (TFN), Tenerife Sur (TFS), Lanzarote (ACE) y Fuerteventura (FUE) consultar el estado de sus vuelos con sus aerolíneas.
– En caso de desplazamientos por carretera, se aconseja extremar la precaución debido al riesgo de acumulaciones de agua y posibles cortes en vías afectadas por las lluvias.
