Germany. Frankfurt airport is warning of high check-in waiting times

Due to the start of the Easter vacations in Hesse and other German states, Frankfurt Airport (FRA) is expecting high passenger numbers over the next few days. This may lead to disruptions and longer wait times for passengers, particularly during peak periods.

When flying into Frankfurt Airport on your return journey, you may experience longer than usual wait times, particularly at baggage claim. Please take this into account when planning your onward journey from FRA, including when booking train connections or arranging pick-up.

Passengers are advised to use online check-in services and allow extra time for their journey. We strongly recommend arriving at the check-in desk 2.5h before departure. Please also check the status of your flight in advance on your airline’s website.
