Reino Unido. Conductores de LNER se declaran en huelga el sábado 20 de abril.
El sindicato ASLEF ha convocado una huelga para el 20 de abril en los servicios de la London North Eastern Railway (LNER), una de las principales compañías ferroviarias de larga distancia y alta velocidad de Reino Unido.
Los servicios de LNER afectan las conexiones hacia el norte desde Londres, aunque no directamente a los aeropuertos, pero sí impactan en las rutas de acceso. Entre las rutas que se van a ver afectadas por la huelga se encuentran las conexiones clave de Londres a Edimburgo (LON-EDI) y Londres a Leeds (LON-LDS), que ofrecerán un servicio reducido.
Así, no habrá servicios de LNER en Lincoln, Skipton, Bradford, Harrogate, Glasgow, Aberdeen o Inverness, y los trenes no se detendrán en Northallerton, Morpeth, Alnmouth, Reston o Dunbar. Se ha dado a conocer que los primeros servicios del día serán más tarde de lo habitual y los últimos servicios también serán más tempranos de lo habitual.
A esta huelga del día 20 se une la prohibición de las horas extraordinarias, programada hasta el 21 de abril, aumentando la probabilidad de modificaciones y cancelaciones en los servicios ferroviarios.

The ASLEF union has called a strike on 20 April on services of the London North Eastern Railway (LNER), one of the UK’s leading long distance and high speed rail companies.
LNER services affect northbound connections from London, although not directly to airports, but do impact on access routes. Among the routes that will be affected by the strike are key connections from London to Edinburgh (LON-EDI) and London to Leeds (LON-LDS), which will operate a reduced service.
