Brasil. Cierre temporal del sistema de solicitud de pasaportes on line.
La Policía Federal de Brasil (PF), entidad encargada de gestionar los pasaportes de los ciudadanos brasileños, ha cerrado temporalmente su sistema de citas on line para solicitudes de pasaportes. Este cierre se produce tras la detección de un intento de hackeo en la red de la institución.
El servicio de programación de citas se reactivará una vez que se haya verificado la seguridad de los sistemas. Sin embargo, aún no se ha proporcionado una fecha exacta para la reanudación del servicio. Al intentar acceder al sistema, los usuarios son informados de que los formularios no están disponibles “por razones de seguridad y mantenimiento”.
Para aquellos viajeros que no tienen planes de viaje en los próximos treinta días, se recomienda que esperen hasta que el servicio se normalice. Sin embargo, aquellos que no puedan posponer su viaje, deben preparar la documentación que justifique la urgencia del mismo y dirigirse a una de las unidades de expedición de pasaportes en las superintendencias regionales para solicitarlo de manera presencial.
Las citas previamente programadas con la PF se mantienen vigentes y se atenderán en las fechas y horarios acordados.
Para los viajeros españoles que se desplacen a Brasil por turismo o negocios por un periodo inferior a 90 días y sin recibir remuneración en el país, no es necesario obtener un visado. Sin embargo, deben contar con los siguientes documentos:
– Pasaporte con validez mínima de 6 meses desde la fecha de salida prevista de Brasil.
– Billete aéreo de ida y vuelta con fecha de regreso confirmada.
– Comprobante de medios económicos suficientes para la estancia en Brasil, como una tarjeta de crédito y su última factura para verificar el límite.
– En caso de hospedarse en hotel, documento que acredite la reserva de alojamiento ya pagada o garantizada.
– Si el viajero se hospeda en una residencia particular, será necesaria una carta de invitación de un residente brasileño.
Para estancias superiores a 3 meses o para realizar actividades remuneradas, es obligatorio obtener un visado antes del viaje.
Brazil. Temporary closure of the online passport application system.
The Brazilian Federal Police (PF), the entity in charge of managing the passports of Brazilian citizens, has temporarily closed its online appointment system for passport applications. This closure follows the detection of a hacking attempt on the institution’s network.
The appointment scheduling service will be reactivated once the security of the systems has been verified. However, an exact date for the resumption of the service has not yet been provided. When trying to access the system, users are informed that the forms are not available ‘for security and maintenance reasons’.
For those travellers who have no travel plans in the next thirty days, it is recommended that they wait until the service is restored. However, those who cannot postpone their trip should prepare documentation justifying the urgency of their trip and go to one of the passport issuing units in the regional superintendencies to apply in person.
Appointments previously scheduled with the FP remain in force and will be attended to on the agreed dates and times.
For Spanish travellers travelling to Brazil for tourism or business for a period of less than 90 days and without receiving remuneration in the country, it is not necessary to obtain a visa. However, they must have the following documents:
– Passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of intended departure from Brazil.
– Return air ticket with a confirmed return date.
– Proof of sufficient financial means for the stay in Brazil, such as a credit card and your last bill to verify the limit.
– In case of hotel accommodation, document proving the accommodation reservation already paid or guaranteed.
– If the traveller is staying in a private residence, a letter of invitation from a Brazilian resident is required.
For stays longer than 3 months or for paid activities, a visa must be obtained prior to travel.
