Vietnam to suspend incoming international flights to Hanoi over Covid

Noi Bai International Airport in the Vietnamese capital Hanoi will stop receiving international arrivals from Tuesday until June 7, following the latest COVID-19 outbreak in the country, according to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam. It also decided to extend the suspension of international flights at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in southern Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City until June 14.

Coronavirus cases on the rise in Vietnam, reaching 7,321 from the first positive. According to the latest data, currently in Vietnam there are 4,245 active cases of coronavirus after confirming 214 new positive and 79 high medical on Monday. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the total number of infected has risen to 7,321 , with 3,029 recovered and 47 deaths.
