En una iniciativa para mejorar la infraestructura aeroportuaria, se aproxima el cierre temporal del Aeropuerto de Vigo (VGO). Este cierre será efectivo desde el 6 hasta el 30 de mayo de 2024 debido a una remodelación integral de su pista de aterrizaje.
Ante esta situación, las principales aerolíneas que operan en el Aeropuerto de Peinador (VGO) han tomado las medidas pertinentes. Iberia, Air Europa, Binter, Vueling, Ryanair y Air Nostrum han suspendido la venta de billetes con destino y origen en Vigo durante el mes de mayo de 2024 y han trasladado parte de sus operaciones al Aeropuerto de Santiago de Compostela (SCQ).
– Para los pasajeros con vuelos programados durante este período, se aconseja verificar el estado de los vuelos con las aerolíneas correspondientes debido a posibles cambios o reubicaciones en otros aeropuertos.
– Se recomienda planificar con anticipación los traslados o considerar medios alternativos de transporte para evitar inconvenientes.
Los aeropuertos alternativos más cercanos son el de Santiago de Compostela y el de A Coruña.

In an initiative to improve airport infrastructure, the temporary closure of Vigo Airport (VGO) is approaching. This closure will be effective from 6 to 30 May 2024 due to a comprehensive refurbishment of its runway.
In view of this situation, the main airlines operating at Peinador Airport (VGO) have taken the appropriate measures. Iberia, Air Europa, Binter, Vueling, Ryanair and Air Nostrum have suspended the sale of tickets to and from Vigo during the month of May 2024 and have transferred part of their operations to Santiago de Compostela Airport (SCQ).
– For passengers with flights scheduled during this period, it is advisable to check the status of flights with the corresponding airlines due to possible changes or relocations to other airports.
