Oriente Medio ha sido testigo de cambios significativos en las rutas aéreas tras los recientes incidentes militares. Tras los ataques aéreos de Irán contra Israel el 14 de abril, y las posteriores explosiones en la provincia central de Isfahan en la madrugada del 19 de abril, las compañías aéreas han tomado medidas inmediatas para adaptarse a la situación.
Las autoridades aeroportuarias iraníes tuvieron que cerrar los aeropuertos de Teherán (IKA), Shiraz (SYZ) e Isfahan (IFN) en respuesta a los ataques y suspendieron todos los vuelos desde y hacia estas ciudades. El Aeropuerto Internacional Imam Jomeini (IKA) tuvo que cancelar sus vuelos e informó a los pasajeros de la necesidad de abandonar las instalaciones aeroportuarias. Ante la suspensión del espacio aéreo y de los aeropuertos iraníes, las compañías aéreas como Emirates, Flydubai, Turkish Air, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi y Belavia tuvieron que modificar algunas rutas, desviando vuelos a aeropuertos alternativos o retornándolos a sus puntos de origen.
Tras unas horas de cierre, los aeropuertos y el espacio aéreo iraníes se han reabierto, retirándose los avisos de cierre. Asimismo, se han establecido los servicios en el aeródromo local de Mehrabad (THR) y en los aeropuertos de Shiraz (SYZ) e Isfahan (IFN), aunque la situación puede cambiar en cualquier momento.
Antes de estos últimos ataques, numerosas compañías aéreas occidentales y asiáticas ya estaban evitando sobrevolar Irán, y algunas aerolíneas han informado la suspensión de vuelos a Teherán hasta el próximo 30 de abril.
– Se recomienda a los viajeros verificar el estado de sus vuelos con las aerolíneas antes de dirigirse al aeropuerto y considerar posibles retrasos o cancelaciones.

The Middle East has witnessed significant changes in air routes following recent military incidents. Following Iran’s air strikes against Israel on 14 April, and the subsequent explosions in the central province of Isfahan in the early hours of 19 April, airlines have taken immediate steps to adapt to the situation.
Iranian airport authorities had to close the airports of Tehran (IKA), Shiraz (SYZ) and Isfahan (IFN) in response to the attacks and suspended all flights to and from these cities. Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKA) had to cancel flights and informed passengers of the need to leave the airport facilities. With the suspension of Iranian airspace and airports, airlines such as Emirates, Flydubai, Turkish Air, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi and Belavia had to modify some routes, diverting flights to alternative airports or returning them to their points of origin.
After a few hours of closure, Iranian airports and airspace have reopened and the closure notices have been lifted. Services have also been re-established at the local Mehrabad airfield (THR) and at the airports of Shiraz (SYZ) and Isfahan (IFN), although the situation may change at any time.
Prior to these latest attacks, numerous Western and Asian airlines were already avoiding flying over Iran, and some airlines have reportedly suspended flights to Tehran until 30 April.
