Las autoridades de Portugal levantarán mañana los controles fronterizos con España y aliviarán ciertas restricciones internas. A partir del 1 de mayo, la frontera terrestre con España se reabrirá para el tráfico regular. Además, el horario de los establecimientos de restauración se extenderán hasta las 22:30 todos los días. La frontera entre España y Portugal se cerró por primera vez el 31 de enero de 2021 y el cierre se ha ido extendiendo en numerosas ocasiones. Por lo tanto, a partir del sábado 1 de mayo, los residentes de España y Portugal podrán viajar entre los dos países por razones no esenciales, aunque debe considerar las restricciones actuales que hay actualmente en España y si esta situación puede afectar a su viaje.

Authorities in Portugal plan to lift the nation’s existing COVID-19-related border controls with Spain and ease certain domestic restrictions. Effective May 1, the land border with Spain will reopen for regular traffic. In addition, permissible hours of operation for restaurants and other catering establishments will be extended until 22:30 daily.
