Los sindicatos del personal de seguridad de fronteras del Reino Unido continuará la convocatoria el 9-10 y 25-27 de mayo de los que son miembros más de 1400 empleados.
La Guardia Fronteriza es una agencia de seguridad nacional especializada que realiza el control y protección de las fronteras, haciendo cumplir la seguridad de las fronteras nacionales del país.
Las autoridades aeroportuarias avisan que durante estos periodos, deben de verificar el estado de los vuelos antes de ir al aeropuerto, y que sólo podrán llevar dos artículos de mano. También aconsejan no llegar antes de dos horas en los vuelos de corta distancia y tres en los de larga distancia. Debe de tenerse en cuenta que la afluencia de pasajeros durante este periodo será elevado y que las colas pueden ser largas.
