Spain. New round of strikes in March

The strike by air traffic controllers at the sixteen privatised towers in the state airport network will continue throughout the month of March.
The new days of protest will take place on Tuesday 7, 14 and 21 March and Wednesday 29. The central airports have called three-hour stoppages for these days, between 16:00 and 19:00, warning that all flights operating between these hours will be considered affected by the protest call. The towers affected are Alicante-Elche, Castellón, Cuatro Vientos, El Hierro, Fuerteventura, Ibiza, Jerez, Lanzarote, La Palma, Lleida, Murcia, Sabadell, Seville and Valencia, as well as A Coruña and Vigo.

Iberia Regional Air Nostrum pilots call an indefinite strike for every Monday and Friday: This inactivity will affect the company’s bases and work centers. Air Nostrum, a franchisee of Spanish flag carrier Iberia, operates a network of regional domestic and international flights under Iberia codes.

Significant flight disruptions (delays and cancelations) are expected throughout these periods.

Swissport strikes continues in 17 spanish airports. The walkout will continue every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday until March 13.

In the airports at Madrid-Barajas, Barcelona-El Prat, Reus, Alicante, Valencia, Murcia, Málaga, Almera, Salamanca, Valladolid, Burgos, Logroño, Zaragoza, Huesca, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, and Tenerife Sur, Swissport Handling offers its services.

With the exception of the airports in Gran Canaria and Tenerife Sur, where it aids executive aviation firms, and the airports in Madrid and Malaga, where it performs air cargo handling services, it offers passenger and ramp handling services at all of these facilities.

Its clients include Aegean Airlines, Aer Lingus, Air France, Brussels Airlines, Czech Airlines, Emirates, Finnair, Iberia Express, Icelandair, Iran Air, KLM, Lufthansa, Swiss, Turkish Airlines and Vueling.

Tenerife. Metrotenerife has called a series of strikes during the month of March

Metrotenerife has called a series of strikes during the month of March, with partial daily morning and afternoon stoppages lasting two hours each. Thus, the tram will provide a minimum service of 90% during these strike periods, which have been set from 09:25 to 11:25 and from 15:45 to 17:45 for all working days throughout the month of March.
Outside these partial stoppages, the tram service will resume its usual frequency.
The strike schedule for the month of March, as well as for April and May is as follows:

March, days: 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 7, 8, 9, 10, 10, 13, 14, 14, 15, 16, 17, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 27, 28, 29 and 31. Strike hours: 09:25 to 11:25 and 15:45 to 17:45.
April, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 10th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 13th, 14th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th and 28th. Strike hours: 10:05 am to 12:05 pm and 4:05 pm to 5:55 pm.
May, days: 2, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 29 and 31. Strike hours: 09:45 to 11:45 and 15:55 to 17:45.
