El Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores español, ha actualizado la información del país añadiendo que los ciudadanos españoles que viajen a Qatar no necesitan solicitar visado de entrada al país; en su lugar, se expedirá un permiso de entrada múltiple en el aeropuerto de entrada. Será necesario presentar pasaporte, confirmación de alojamiento y billete de salida del país. En caso de que la estancia sea superior a 30 días, será necesario presentar además un seguro médico con cobertura en Qatar.

La aerolínea de bandera catarí, Qatar Airways, puede requerirle la presentación de un formulario médico con carácter previo al embarque.

The Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has updated information on the country, adding that Spanish citizens travelling to Qatar do not need to apply for an entry visa to enter the country; instead, a multiple entry permit will be issued at the airport of entry. Passport, confirmation of accommodation and a ticket to leave the country will be required. In case of a stay of more than 30 days, medical insurance with coverage in Qatar is also required.
