At the Berlin-Brandenburg airport in Schönefeld, the strike of security staff, called by the Verdi union, has begun. On Monday morning at 3:30 a.m., numerous employees in the aviation security, passenger control and personnel control sectors have stopped working. 220 scheduled departures were cancelled. Arriving flights may also be affected by cancellations and changes to the flight schedule due to the warning strike.
