Eurocontrol has issued a statement that air traffic controllers will strike between 30 April and 2 May. Further details will be known on 26 April.

Strike on 28 April and 1 May, national protests are expected and will affect mobility in the country. More or less normal traffic is expected this Friday on the French railways, with perhaps some more marked disruptions at local level. There could be some disruptions on some lines of TER, Intercités and, in the Paris region, Transilien and RER.

In addition to the strikes on 28 April, a large mobilisation is planned for 1 May. May 1 is the French Labour Day, which is a traditional day of trade union action. The unions have called for widespread protests and disruption of regular services is to be expected.
