Sudán se encuentra inmerso en un conflicto armado que ha llevado a graves enfrentamientos desde el 15 de abril de 2023. El ejército sudanés (SAF) y el grupo paramilitar Fuerzas de Apoyo Rápido (RSF) han estado involucrados en estos combates, principalmente en Jartum y otras partes del país. La situación es altamente volátil, confusa y puede cambiar rápidamente.
La situación en el aeropuerto de Jartum se ha visto afectada por los enfrentamientos armados, lo que ha llevado a la suspensión de operaciones de vuelo hacia y desde la ciudad. Sin embargo, el aeropuerto de Port Sudan sigue en funcionamiento y ofrece vuelos a numerosos destinos en la región.

However, it is important to note that there is no reliable information on conditions along the route from Khartoum to Port Sudan or to the Egyptian border. Long waiting times at border crossings have been reported, as well as a poor supply situation, including food and drinking water, near the border. In addition, the quality of sanitation in these areas cannot be guaranteed.
From Port Sudan, there are options for departure by both boat and air to various destinations in the region. However, when departing to neighbouring countries, it is crucial to observe the entry regulations and visa requirements applicable in each destination.
