La estación de tren de London Euston, una de las principales puertas de entrada ferroviaria a la capital británica, permanecerá cerrada desde el 29 de marzo hasta el 1 de abril. Esta interrupción en el servicio se debe a la realización de obras de ingeniería esenciales para mejorar las infraestructuras del transporte en la región.
Durante este período de cuatro días, las operaciones ferroviarias sufrirán importantes modificaciones. Los servicios de Avanti West Coast y London Northwestern Railway no realizarán paradas en la habitual terminal de London Euston. En su lugar, sus rutas se verán modificadas para comenzar y terminar en la estación de Milton Keynes Central (KYN).
Para mitigar el impacto de estas obras en los pasajeros, se implementarán servicios de autobuses que conectarán Milton Keynes con London Euston. Además, se establecerá una ruta de autobús adicional entre Milton Keynes y Northampton, disponible desde el 30 de marzo hasta el 1 de abril.
Los trenes operados por Govia Thameslink, por su parte, verán alteradas sus terminales. Durante los días de cierre, finalizarán su recorrido en las estaciones de Kensington Olympia o Shepherd’s Bush.

Closure of London Euston station from 29 March to 1 April.
London Euston railway station, one of the main rail gateways to the British capital, will be closed from 29 March to 1 April. This service disruption is due to essential engineering works to improve transport infrastructure in the region.
During this four-day period, rail operations will be significantly altered. Avanti West Coast and London Northwestern Railway services will not stop at the usual London Euston terminus. Instead, their routes will be altered to start and finish at Milton Keynes Central (KYN) station.
To mitigate the impact of these works on passengers, bus services will be implemented to connect Milton Keynes with London Euston. In addition, an additional bus route will be established between Milton Keynes and Northampton, available from 30 March to 1 April.
Trains operated by Govia Thameslink, meanwhile, will see their usual terminals altered. On closure days, they will terminate at Kensington Olympia or Shepherd’s Bush stations.
