Perú. Incidencia de Trujillo.
El aeropuerto Internacional Capitán FAP Carlos Martínez de Pinillos en Trujillo (TRU) en la región de Libertad, está teniendo cancelaciones en sus vuelos a Lima (LIM) debido a las condiciones climáticas adversas.
La compañía LATAM Airlines Perú, que opera en este aeropuerto junto con Jetsmart y Sky Airline, ha informado que alrededor de 200 de sus pasajeros se han visto afectados por la cancelación de los vuelos programados. Es importante destacar que solo los vuelos de LATAM Airlines Perú se vieron afectados, mientras que las otras aerolíneas han continuado operando con normalidad.
El principal desafío para el aeropuerto es la densa niebla que cubre el borde costero durante las primeras horas de la mañana. Esta niebla ha reducido la visibilidad, dificultando las operaciones de aterrizaje y despegue en el aeropuerto ubicado en Huanchaco (TRU).
Según ha informado LATAM Airlines Perú, aquellos pasajeros con vuelos afectados tendrán la flexibilidad para cambios y/o devoluciones sin ningún tipo de penalización. No obstante, se aconseja que antes de viajar se informen tanto en la propia web de la compañía como en las redes sociales oficiales para evitar inconvenientes.
Por el momento, el único destino internacional desde el aeropuerto de Trujillo (TRU) es Santiago de Chile (SCL), y se espera que las condiciones climáticas mejoren para normalizar las operaciones aéreas en el terminal.

The Capitán FAP Carlos Martínez de Pinillos International Airport in Trujillo (TRU) in the Libertad region, is experiencing flight cancellations to Lima (LIM) due to adverse weather conditions.
LATAM Airlines Peru, which operates at this airport along with Jetsmart and Sky Airline, has reported that around 200 of its passengers were affected by the cancellation of scheduled flights. It is important to note that only LATAM Airlines Peru flights were affected, while the other airlines have continued to operate normally.
The main challenge for the airport is the dense fog covering the coastline during the early hours of the morning. This fog has reduced visibility, making landing and take-off operations difficult at the airport located in Huanchaco (TRU).
According to LATAM Airlines Peru, passengers with affected flights will have the flexibility to make changes and/or refunds without penalty. However, passengers are advised to check the company’s website and official social networks before travelling to avoid any inconvenience.
At the moment, the only international destination from Trujillo airport (TRU) is Santiago de Chile (SCL), and weather conditions are expected to improve to normalise air operations at the terminal.
