El próximo 22 de mayo de 2024, la ciudad de Dublín, en la República de Irlanda, acogerá la final de la UEFA Europa League 2023/24 en el estadio Dublin Arena. Este evento es considerado por Eurocontrol como un factor de alto impacto para el tráfico aéreo en la región.
Desde las 15:00 hora local del día del evento, la Garda Síochána -policía irlandesa- establecerá un cordón de tráfico en múltiples zonas alrededor del estadio. Los cierres afectarán a las siguientes calles y avenidas:
– Lansdowne Road: ambos lados desde Northumberland Road hasta Herbert Road.
– Shelbourne Road: ambos lados desde Ballsbridge hasta Bath Avenue.
– Bath Avenue: ambos lados desde Londonbridge Road hasta Shelbourne Road.
– Newbridge Avenue, Herbert Road y Lansdowne Lane: desde Northumberland Road hasta Shelbourne Road.
– Parque Lansdowne.
Dada la previsible afluencia de peatones, se podrían producir cierres totales a la circulación de vehículos en estas áreas antes, durante y después del evento, para garantizar la seguridad de los asistentes.
El partido comenzará a las 20:00 horas y se espera que se extienda hasta aproximadamente las 23:00 horas. La estación de Lansdowne Road Dart se cerrará desde las 16:00 por motivos de seguridad. Durante el cierre, los viajeros deberán utilizar las estaciones de Grand Canal Dock o Sandymount. Además, un servicio de autobús lanzadera estará disponible para personas con problemas de movilidad desde la estación de Sandymount Dart hasta el Hotel Sandymount.
Las ubicaciones designadas para los Puntos de Encuentro de Aficionados (FMP) serán el Shelbourne Park Greyhound Stadium y el RDS Simmonscourt, situadas en el norte y sur del estadio, respectivamente.

On 22 May 2024, the city of Dublin in the Republic of Ireland will host the final of the UEFA Europa League 2023/24 at the Dublin Arena. This event is considered by Eurocontrol as a high impact factor for air traffic in the region.
From 15:00 local time on the day of the event, the Garda Síochána – Irish police – will establish a traffic cordon in multiple areas around the stadium. The closures will affect the following streets and avenues:

– Shelbourne Road: both sides from Ballsbridge to Bath Avenue.

During the closure, passengers should use Grand Canal Dock or Sandymount stations. In addition, a shuttle bus service will be available for people with mobility problems from Sandymount Dart station to the Sandymount Hotel.
The designated Fan Meeting Point (FMP) locations will be the Shelbourne Park Greyhound Stadium and RDS Simmonscourt, located to the north and south of the stadium respectively.
– Travellers planning to fly into Dublin Airport (DUB) on the day of the event are advised to be aware of this and arrive at the airfield well in advance.
– It is recommended to use public transport to access the event area and to avoid areas closed to traffic.
– Those attending the match should be aware of security measures and additional travel times to arrive and depart the event safely.
