El próximo 28 de mayo, Italia experimentará paros laborales significativos en el sector aéreo, convocados por los sindicatos FIT-CISL y UILT-UIL. Estas huelgas tendrán lugar en momentos importantes del día y afectarán a varias rutas aéreas tanto nacionales como internacionales.
La primera de las huelgas será llevada a cabo por la tripulación de Wizzair Airline, con una duración de cuatro horas, desde las 13:00 hora local hasta las 17:00. Los aeropuertos que se van a ver más afectados por este paro son principalmente el de Roma-Fiumicino (FCO) y el de Milán-Malpensa (MXP).
Por otro lado, la tripulación de la aerolínea Air Dolomiti también ha convocado una huelga de mayor envergadura que durará 24 horas. Esta huelga tendrá un alcance más extenso y se prevé que interrumpa la totalidad de las operaciones en aeropuertos como el de Venecia-Marco Polo (VCE) y el de Bologna (BLQ).
