FRANCE. Strike will disrupt Atlantic high-speed rail services on 22, 23, 24 October

 

Unionized rail workers employed by French railway operator SNCF plan to stage a strike Oct. 22-24. the labor action will prompt the cancellation of one-tenth of all TGV Atlantique trains on Oct. 22, increasing to one-third over Oct. 23-24.
The strike is expected to affect one out of 10 trains on Friday, and one out of three services on Saturday and Sunday.

The TGV Atlantique is a high-speed service running from Paris (Gare Montparnasse) to western France.
Disruptions are also likely on the inOui and Ouigo TGV trains serving the Centre Val de Loire, Nouvelle Aquitaine, Brittany, Pays de la Loire, and Occitanie regions.

Reconfirm rail schedules and travel arrangements, including rental car and intercity bus availability, if traveling in the west of France Oct 22-24.
