The Canary Islands are once again requiring vaccination certificates or tests for nationals
The Canary Islands are once again requiring vaccination certificates or tests for nationals. The new conditions are similar to those in force for international screening and include the exclusion of passengers under 12 years of age from screening by means of diagnostic tests for active infection (PDIA).
Passengers in transit and those who can prove that they have been outside the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands for less than 72 hours prior to arrival, regardless of their place of residence, will also not be required to present a vaccination or test schedule.
From December 1: those passengers from other Autonomous Communities must present:

  1. The Covid Certificate (which shows the complete vaccination schedule or having recently overcome the disease)
  2. A negative PCR test (performed no more than 72 hours before)

Due to the constant updating of the information regarding the restrictions and measures caused by COVID-19, before travelling, you must always consult the requirements and recommendations of the public bodies and competent national authorities bodies in each country. Passengers are advised to check with the airlines for further information regarding their flights.
