DENMARK. Scandinavian Airlines’ baggage handlers go on strike at Copenhagen Kastrup Airport

Since yesterday SAS baggage handlers have called a strike without notice. Passengers at Kastrup airport are being informed that their flight has been delayed or cancelled due to the work stoppage, and some have to leave without their luggage. No strike has been announced, so it is an illegal and non-contractual strike. More information about the baggage handling here

We recommend all travelers to allow extra time for arrival at the airport before departure. Many travelers together with an increased manual handling of travel documents due to Covid-19, will result in longer queuing times than usual at the airport, both for check in and security.
