France: Staff at airports in Paris, to strike June 30-July 3
Unions representing workers at Paris Charles de Gaulle and Paris Orly airports have called for a strike June 30-July 3
Additionally, striking workers will demonstrate at 09:00 July 1 at Terminal 2E, Gate 18 at CDG, as well as at Orly Terminal 4 at ORY.
Staffing shortages could cause delays during check-in and clearing security.
Some 10% of flights departing or arriving from Paris-Charles de Gaulle will be canceled Thursday due to a social movement. At some European airports, the lack of staff has already led to huge chaos, such as at Amsterdam-Schiphol or Frankfurt, where flights have had to be canceled in recent weeks due to shortages of ground staff.
A strike by firefighters and other ground staff at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport will take place on Friday, 1 July.
Confirm flights if booked to fly via Charles de Gaulle or Orly June 30-July 4.
We invite passengers to check the news of their flight with their company and anticipate their arrival at the airport: three hours for an international flight, two hours for a domestic or European flight.
