Italy Train strikes planned in multiple regions during July; aviation workers threaten four-hour strike on 17 July

Several strikes are already scheduled to take place in the coming days and weeks, especially in the Italian transport sector.
From 03:00 on Sunday 10 July to 02:00 on Monday 11 July 2022, a strike was called.
The trade union agitation may generate repercussions for the Regional, Suburban and Airport service .
As the strike will take place on a public holiday, there are no guarantee time slots .
If the Malpensa Express trains are cancelled, bus routes will be set up for the airport connections only:

  • Between Milan Cadorna and Malpensa Airport T1 , without intermediate stops (from Milan Cadorna buses will depart from via Paleocapa 1).
  • Between Stabio and Malpensa Airport T1 , without intermediate stops.

On July 17th, several air sector workers’ unions, including workers of low-cost airlines Easyjet and Ryanair and local airports, have scheduled a strike for at least four hours, from 2 pm to 6 pm. As a result, you can expect disruptions during the entire day and perhaps the day after as well.
