Además una fuerte tormenta de nieve ha interrumpido desde ayer el transporte por carretera y aéreo en Atenas. Aegean y Olympic Air han anunciado que sólo operarán un número limitado de vuelos debido a las excepcionales condiciones meteorológicas en Grecia.
Hasta hoy a las 12 horas sólo operarán los siguientes vuelos si las condiciones meteorológicas a la hora de salida lo permiten:
Vuelo 532 Desde Tesalónica hasta Frankfurt
Vuelo 833 Frankfurt Atenas
Vuelo 905 Larnaca Atenas
Vuelo 510 Salónica Stuttgart
Vuelo 511 Stuttgart Tesalónica
Todos los demás vuelos desde y hacia el Aeropuerto Internacional de Atenas y otros aeropuertos griegos han sido cancelados.

However, a severe snowstorm disrupted road and air traffic Monday in the Greek capital of Athens.
Aegean and Olympic Air on Monday announced that only a limited number of flights will operate due to the exceptional weather conditions in Greece.
Only the following flights will operate should weather conditions at departure time allow:
Flight 532 From Thessaloniki to Frankfurt
Flight 833 Frankfurt Athens
Flight 905 Larnaca Athens
Flight 510 Salónica Stuttgart
Flight 511 Stuttgart Thessaloniki
All other flights to and from Athens International Airport and other Greek airports have been canceled.
