Public transportation strike in Athens 18 November

 

Athens Metro, Tram and ISAP Urban Train workers will begin a 24-hour strike and outage on Thursday, November 18. Athens Piraeus Electric Railway trains, traverse the old Athens backbone, connect Piraeus, Greece’s bigger port, to Kifissia through 26 km railway.
Buses and trolleybuses have two stops, from the start of the morning shift to 9am and from 9pm to the end of the night shift.

Individuals in Greece, particularly those in or planning travel to Athens, are advised to monitor developments to the situation, confirm travel reservations, plan additional time for travel, and consider alternative means of transportation.
