Los turistas que lleguen a España, a partir del mes de junio, con el certificado verde digital europeo, que es como se llama el pasaporte de vacunación de la UE, podrán entrar sin necesidad de someterse a cuarentenas ni aportar pruebas diagnósticas negativas. Igualmente, aquellos viajeros que lleguen desde terceros países con certificados o pasaportes homologados por la UE. El documento vendrá en forma de código QR gratuito, estará disponible a fines de junio y permitirá que más personas lleguen al país de manera más segura. Este nuevo documento digital y físico, permitirá a las autoridades de un país verificar tres datos diferentes: si el viajero ha sido vacunado, si ha tenido el coronavirus y si se ha hecho una prueba que confirme que en ese momento no está infectado con el virus.

Spain will facilitate the entry to all travellers who have the European digital green certificate or approved equivalents from third countries without the need for quarantines or PCR or antigen test on arrival. Likewise, those arriving from third countries with certificates or passports approved by the EU. The document will come in the form of a free QR code, will be available by the end of June, and will allow for more people to arrive in the country in a safer manner. It will be a digital and physical document, that will allow a country’s authorities to check three different pieces of information: if the bearer has been vaccinated, if they have had the coronavirus and if they have had a test that confirms they are not currently infected with the virus.
